Funny you ask this, I just got off the phone with CS after asking for a tracking #; which they did not have yet. I must have sounded REAL disappointed, as the CS rep asked me did I need it back for a special occasion and was the child upset?....
...THE CHILD!!!! HA! ...I guess that is what I am "at heart" with these dollies!

Sheila - silver eye is a defect that is supposed to be covered by AG - why did they charge you to ship her home? I've sent dolls in for eye repairs and just had to pay to send them in, never for their return. You really shouldn't have to pay it.

When I filled out the AGH Admission form, I listed the SH amount and the CA. sales tax on that amount.....guess I better call them after she gets here; sometimes the AG charge will show up on my bank account the minute it is charged, drop off for a couple days, and then post permanently. When I sent one in, I just checked head replacement and then next to that wrote "silver eye" (it was a Mattel doll so I didn't care about new head or not) and sent no money and didn't fill out any credit card info. I wrote my phone number on in case there were problems and I never got a call and never got charged.
Okay now I am really peeved. I just found a charge for $24 on my credit card which make me think they are charging me for a new head, why does everyone else get a free head while I have to pay for it. It was obviosly silver eye, one eye had not color left in it while the other was still really dark. So I get given her as a gift then have to spend $25 buck to have a manufacturing problem fixed. I am email CS on this one.

My Mia went in for silver eye surgery in October and she came back really fast. (Actually, I dropped her off at the Chicago store-had to go to Chicago for something else that day anyway!). I hope you find your doll. They did a good job on Mia.

I do not want a new dollie, just my Abigale back. IMO, a new head is a new dollie; it is just not the same. I could and would not do it with Cynthia Diane, Abigale Marie, or Amy Beth. Sheesh!! I will be glad when she gets here! I can live with her possibly coming back with a neck-tie, but if they change somethng other than fixing that Silver Eye.....
